“THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT” MUSIC FESTIVAL

AUSTIN, Texas—May 17, 2007

“The Kids Are Alright Fest” is a two-day Music Festival for bands and kids 18 years and under. The music performance portion of the Festival takes place on Saturday June 2nd at Emo’s on 6th Street and Red River, benefiting Latinas Unidas Por El Arte (LUPE Arte). Musical instruments will be donated to help LUPE Arte provide more free, after-school, music classes in Austin schools.

Tickets are $7 for 18 and under and $10 for over 18. The Fest will run from Noon to 6:30 and each band will play 20 minute sets. Tickets are limited and we expect to sell out. Come early. Tickets only sold at the door.
